TVXQ
Dong Bang Shin Ki (also known as Tong Vfang Xien Qi ["TVXQ"] by their International Fans, and known as Tohoshinki in Japan), is and has been the hottest group in Asia over the past years.  Made up of talented members with unique stage names ~ U-Know Yunho, Max Choikang Changmin, Hero Youngwoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu ~ TVXQ has won the hearts of millions of fans all over the world. Their widely known fan-base in Korea is called "Cassiopeia", a name chosen especially by the boys to represent the 5 star constellation of the same name ~ one star for each member.

Junsu, with his angelic baritenor voice, was the first member to join the group, followed by Yunho, who soon became the group's leader.  Next came Jaejoong, Changmin, and finally, Yoochun.  They started as an a cappella group and their first public appearance was on Korean National TV in December 2006 on a Britney Spears and BoA showcase.  The release of their first single "Hug" quickly followed, and they were immediately propelled to the #1 spot on the Korean charts.

In 3 years, the boys have released a total of 5 original albums and countless singles, including 15 in Japan alone.  Their many DVDs and photobooks show different aspects of their talent and personalities, and they have a diverse repertoire ranging from a cappella to K-pop.  In 2006, amidst many ups and downs for the group, especially regarding the health of the members, Dong Bang Shin Ki was recognized as Korea's greatest musical group, sweeping all 4 Daesang awards for that year. It was an immense achievement and great honor for the boys.

As their talent in their home country is undeniable, the boys have decided to focus on their Japanese career for the next few years.  Already twice reaching the #2 rank on the Oricon weekly charts, and repeatedly achieving the #1 spot on the Oricon daily charts during the summer of 2007, their fluent Japanese speaking skills and tremendous talent will garner them much success in this endeavor.

At this rate, the Rising Gods of the East are set to conquer the world!
